WHAT IS THE SOLVENT CARRIER IN SUPER LUBE® AEROSOLS?-Thursday, 30 July 2020
As consumers learn more about the environment, we get asked more frequently than ever before: What is the solvent carrier in Super Lube® aerosols, and is there an ozone depleting chlorinated solvent?
There is no ozone depleting chlorinated solvent or CFCs in Super Lube® Aerosols. The solvent carrier is Heptane. After Super Lube® is sprayed onto a surface, the Heptane quickly evaporates, leaving a long-lasting coating of Super Lube®.
Super Lube® Multi-Purpose Synthetic Lubricant with Syncolon® (PTFE) is a synthetic, heavy duty multi-purpose aerosol, safe to use on anything that slides, rolls, swivels or squeaks. It withstands temperatures within a range of -45°F to 450°F (-43°C to 232°C).
