Silicone Grease

Non-curing Silicone compounds provide lasting protection without thermal degradation for a variety of applications.

  • Seals Out Moisture – Prevents rust and protects and insulates electrical components, connectors, O-rings and rubber components
  • Dielectric Formulation – Highly insulating properties prevent electrical arcing and short circuits by filling microscopic air gaps between electrical components and surfaces operating at high voltages or in vacuum environments
  • Food Grade – Clean, Kosher-Certified and NSF-H1 registered for incidental food contact
  • Made in USA
  • ISO 9001
  • NLGI
  • This product is NSF H1 registered and is safe for incidental food contact. Ideal for food processing equipment, it meets strict safety standards for lubricants used near food.

  • This product is certified kosher by KVH Kosher, one of the oldest and most respected kosher certification agencies in the U.S. It meets strict dietary standards in accordance with Jewish guidelines.

FAQs

The difference is the base oil. Multi-Purpose Grease has a Polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic oil base. PAO-based lubricants are commonly used in automotive and industrial applications. Silicone Lubricating grease is silicone based. These lubricants are commonly used to limit friction at high temperatures, reduce noise and mechanical wear between plastic and rubber contact points.

Super Lube Multi-Use Synthetic Oil can be used to effectively thin out Multi-Purpose Grease. Super Lube Multi-Use Synthetic Lightweight Oils are also available in viscosities ranging from ISO 22 to ISO 68 to help with precise applications. When thinning Silicone-based grease, we recommend Super Lube Silicone 100cSt oil.

There are specific additives in each formulation, depending on the application. Super Lube Silicone Dielectric and Vacuum Grease has a specially-formulated, non-curing silicone compound that exhibits superior performance in both electrical and vacuum applications. Super Lube Silicone Lubricating Grease has a wide operating range of -40°F to 500°F, and provides excellent water and moisture protection. Super Lube Silicone O-Ring Grease is formulated to protect O-Rings from damage by abrasion, pinching, or cutting.
